So Wan & I have been looking for a place to do some fruit picking and after searching on the web, we found a place called Gelynis Fruit Farm. So punyala excited we decided to go on Saturday and dragged my only Chinese Malaysian friend Alex along.
The forecast for the day was not good at all and it was supposed to rain after 1 pm so we kelam kabut went at 11 in the morning in the hope of avoiding the rain.
We got to the place and I was a wee bit disappointed when I found that the place was not as I expected it to be. It was small and the fruit trees where quite shriveled up. Don't know if it's supposed to be that way.
Unfortunately, in the middle of our strawberry picking it started to rain. Luckily it stopped a few minutes later when we moved on to the other berry patches. Not too bad actually. We got some raspberries and tayberries. It was worth the 4 quid a kilo. And really good with cream and sugar. Yummers!
